This is my go-to breakfast right now. It’s super simple and is the perfect morning meal – I’m never hungry after, or overly full. I’m big on spicy food so naturally I added some heat to it, and it’s been a great way to kick start my morning! If I’m really living on the edge, I’ll add two types of hot sauces – one green and one red 🤪.
// 1 large avocado
// 1 piece of multigrain bread
// 1 lime
// 1/2 tsp. fresh ground pepper
// Hot sauce of your choice & red pepper flakes to taste
Peel and lightly mash 2 ripe avocados in a small bowl. Toast 1 slice of multigrain bread in a toaster until golden and crispy. Slice lime into quarters and set aside. Spread avocado mixture on the toasted bread and squeeze one lime wedge over top. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes and the hot sauce of your choice to taste. Et Voila!
